Randell “Rick” Rowe

Attorney at Law

Rick Rowe mainly practices construction law and commercial litigation, representing contractors and developers for both residential and commercial projects including multi-home subdivisions throughout central and south Florida, as well as high-rise condominiums such as the 55-story Trump Royale tower in Miami. Rick also assists clients with transactional matters such as crafting LLC operating agreements, negotiating construction liens, and preparing deeds and estate planning documents. On the litigation side, Rick’s experience spans fields to include appellate, business, association, and family law, where he routinely drafts pleadings and motions, argues dispositive motions before the trial court, and handles complex appellate matters before Florida’s District Courts of Appeal. Recognizing that many litigants encounter novel and often delicate legal issues, Rick is enthusiastic about working efficiently with his clients to address and tackle these new and developing legal concerns.

Rick frequently analyzes complicated and unclear issues such as the application of Florida’s statute of repose, an association’s standing to sue for matters of common interest, and the implementation of comparative fault for construction defect claims. In conjunction with this, Rick remains focused on his clients’ practical needs, and often identifies qualified engineering experts, assists with lien issues, and holds joint strategy conferences to weigh the best options for proceeding with litigation.

Rick graduated from the Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the FSU College of Law. During law school, he served as an Executive Articles Editor for the Florida State University Law Review and completed the Business Law Certificate Program.

Rick’s competitive yet calm demeanor allows him to zealously advocate for his clients while remaining composed in high-stress environments, and fuels his passions outside the office, where he enjoys playing golf and cheering on FSU’s sports teams.
